Northwick Wares is a design-led candle and homewares business, focused on producing sustainable, aspirational products.
Working closely with the founders we developed the name, brand, packaging, website and photography. With a focus on natural products and the use of wooden wicks and crackled ceramics in the signature candle range, the brand references natural materials at every opportunity. The brand icon uses three trees to support this message while referencing the three founders, and the packaging celebrates the imperfection of the crackle-glazed ceramics with colourful terrazzo patterns that reflect each of the scents.
We approached Middle Name knowing they would help craft a brand that matched our aspirations. They’ve ended up having a huge influence on our product and our business. The brand and packaging is beautiful and really represents us. The fact that the designs have been featured on websites and in books is testament to the standard of the project and we will no doubt be working with them in future.
